Lodging
Working as hard as a cowboy on working cattle ranch takes a lot out of you. Relax in the down-home comfort. The Main Lodge, decorated in western antique decor, is the meeting place for meals, location of the laundry area, Satellite TV, telephone and snack bar. You may want to bring your own laptop to connect to wireless internet.
Guests sleep in our log bunk houses with private bathrooms and entrances or the over flow can stay in the Main Lodge - two private bedrooms with a shared bath.
All bedrooms are decorated in the western tradition~special attention was paid to the little details, the beds have handmade head boards by Tammy, air-conditioned and heated for guests comfort, small refrigerators and microwaves.
Towels and linens are furnished for all rooms.
Meals
Tammy is a great cook and you can expect three hearty, home cooked meals every day at The Main Ranch.
Our working ranch is located in the heart of beef country, so you can count on Tammy to serve up the most mouth-watering, tender cuts, delightfully seasoned and prepared fresh every day with all the fixings. Meals are served buffet and/or family style, so you’re sure to be full and satisfied. You can expect a spread of:
Breakfast:
Pancakes, eggs and sausage. Biscuits and gravy or breakfast burritos.
Dinner (noon meal):
Hamburgers or a variety of hot sandwiches, salads, homemade cookies, pies and/or specialty desserts. Once a week a picnic in the pasture just you and your horse.
Supper (evening meal):
Grilled steak and potatoes. Prime rib, potatoes and salad. Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes and vegetables. Some Mexican and Italian entrees are also served. And every supper includes a selection of Tammy’s delicious homemade desserts.
Vegetarians can be catered for, just let us know your requirements before you arrive.
